Job Description

McKibbon Hospitality is looking for a creative and detail oriented Senior Graphic Designer to join our Communications & Marketing team. You will create engaging and creative graphics to visually represent the company's brand and our hotel & restaurant brands. You are responsible for all aspects of graphic design, from concept to delivery. Our Senior Graphic Designer manages the Graphic Designer, overseeing projects, timelines and work. To be successful in this role, you should have experience executing branding projects, website design, brochures, print & digital advertising, and more. In addition to a thorough knowledge of composition, layout, and design principles, you should have a strong grasp on production design, printing processes, writing & editing, and organizational skills.

Day in the Life:

  • Conceptualizes, designs, and develops marketing materials for hotel sales & marketing teams including e-newsletters, event invitations, flyers, advertisements, direct mail pieces, etc.
  • Maintains brand standards for 15+ hotel brands, and manages brand assets in an organized and efficient manner
  • Works closely with Communications and Sales & Marketing teams on design projects
  • Designs concepts and sample layouts for projects based on knowledge of brand guidelines and standards
  • Prioritizes and estimates the time required to complete projects
  • Uses a wide range of media, including photography, video, audio
  • Communicates with and manages print vendors to ensure budget and brand is maintained
  • Assists with company’s social media efforts
  • Assist with company special events, including design and printing for nametags, invitations, presentations, etc.
  • Manages graphic designer


  • College degree in design or 5+ years of professional design experience
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Organized self-starter and extremely attentive to details
  • Strong working knowledge of visual design
  • Works well independently and as a highly integrated team member
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and efficiently complete multiple projects to meet shifting needs and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
