Job Description

McKibbon is seeking a goal-oriented Regional Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing and social media strategies for the restaurants within our Asheville and Charlotte hotels. The Regional Marketing Manager must be a highly motivated self-starter with ambition to be successful by strengthening relationships with local organizations and businesses, increasing awareness in the local areas and feeder markets, driving revenue to each property, and recognizing the needs for each entity to create effective marketing plans and campaigns. The ideal candidate should be creative, possess incredible organizational skills, and have the drive to create and manage marketing plans for the following properties in North Carolina: * AC Hotel Asheville Downtown * AC Hotel Charlotte City Center * Aloft Asheville Downtown * Kimpton Hotel Arras

In this role, the responsibilities will include working with the operations, sales, and revenue generation teams at each property to ensure marketing efforts align with the brands and increase revenue. The position requires close interaction and collaboration with all departments of our hotels, including revenue management, sales & marketing, food & beverage, and operations, to ensure all websites, social media accounts, marketing campaigns, influencer marketing efforts, programming, and other communication channels and marketing initiatives accurately reflect each property’s brand. The ideal candidate should have a well-developed capacity to brainstorm and ideate programming, campaigns, promotions, and events to generate revenue for each entity. Graphic design and photo/video skills are a plus.


* Execute a results-driven marketing and social media strategy for each property

* Develop and curate engaging content for marketing channels and social media platforms

* Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content

* Develop, promote, and attend events and produce live social media content (includes some nights and weekends)

* Collaborate with sales and operations teams to create a social media content calendar

* Monitor social media accounts and respond to messages, inquiries, reviews, and comments

* Review analytics and create reports on key metrics

* Manage all websites

* Work with corporate eCommerce team to maintain all online listings and brand reputation management

* Ensure all content is on-brand and is consistent with brand standards

* Liaison between hotels and brand representatives for marketing, website, and social media needs

* Create and maintain digital signage content at hotels

* Organize and update database of hotels’ digital assets


* A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field

* 5-7 years of experience in marketing in a management role

* Knowledge of digital marketing best practices

* Experience with marketing tools & software

* Experience working in a fast-paced environment, hotel or restaurant preferred

* Ability to work with a variety of teams and personalities

* Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

* Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.)

* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus

* Experience with website management
